Yes. We prepare the topics with you and guide the interview as a face-to-face conversation. Your parent does not need to memorize answers or deliver a speech to the lens. Discuss any concerns before booking so the room, interview pace and proposed filming time suit the person.
Yes. Story preparation begins with calls, and you can help gather names, questions and digital photographs before the filming day. Tell us who will be present at the Deerfield home and who will coordinate access. If you also want an interview outside Lake County, that travel needs to be discussed separately.
No. The interview can be the main source of the story. Begin with a small selection of photographs that your parent can explain. Short Documentary includes up to 25 digital photographs; larger packages allow more photographs or short clips. Scanning printed photographs is an optional addition, rather than a requirement to start.
