We discuss the main subject, any other interview participants and where each conversation would take place. If a family celebration is motivating the film, share its date at the start. Filming and the finished edit need their own schedule; a gathering does not automatically include event coverage.

No. The film can explore a recent move or decades of earlier experiences. At-home production in Volo provides a setting for the interview while the story can follow your relative’s whole life.

Can the film include a parent and adult child?

The Signature Life Film includes up to two interview participants and up to two Lake County locations. We help decide what each person contributes so their interviews complement each other in the finished 30–40 minute film.

Do we have to fill the entire photograph allowance?

No. Package allowances are maximums, not targets. Choose photographs that support the story. A smaller selection with clear names and context can be more useful than many images with no explanation of who or what they show.

How early should we plan a film for a family celebration?

Start with the date you hope to watch it. Listed completion estimates range from 6–8 weeks for Story Portrait to 14–18 weeks for Family Documentary. Availability and preparation must be confirmed before a specific delivery date is agreed.
